Baseball Recap: St. Paul Lutheran Comes Up Short

St. Paul Lutheran couldn't beat Pleasant Hill on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Saints came up short against the Roosters/Chicks, falling 16-6. The Saints' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

St. Paul Lutheran saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaydon Battista, who went 2-for-4 with two runs. Ryan Kunkel was another, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

St. Paul Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Pleasant Hill, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-15.

St. Paul Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pleasant Hill, they will challenge Knob Noster at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
