Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian and The Habersham School squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Trinity Christian had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against The Habersham School this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in September.

The Habersham School was led to victory by Betsy Kelly and Claire Patterson. Kelly had five aces and two assists, while Patterson had five aces. Those five aces gave Patterson a new career-high.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for The Habersham School, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-9 record this season.

Trinity Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against CrossPointe Christian Academy on the 7th. As for The Habersham School, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Alleluia Community on the 3rd.
