Faith Christian hasn't had much luck against Liberty Christian recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will challenge the Patriots at 4:00 p.m. Faith Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season.

Faith Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over Vandalia Christian. With Faith Christian ahead 5-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Their offense was hitting Vandalia Christian from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Aiden Jackson led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Liberty Christian came up short against Union Grove Christian on Monday and fell 3-1.

Faith Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those five contests. As for Liberty Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Faith Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Liberty Christian in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
