Volleyball Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss

Monroe was the 2-0 winner over Sutherlin when they last played one another back in September of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Dragons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs on Saturday.

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Sutherlin, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Coming up, Monroe will head out on the road to face off against Toledo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sutherlin, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Harrisburg on the 27th.
