Volleyball Recap: Northwestern Takes a Loss

Northwestern lost against Rock Hill back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bearcats.

Northwestern started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-12, 25-16, 25-7.

Northwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Rock Hill, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Northwestern is set to take on their familiar foe Indian Land at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rock Hill will challenge rival Catawba Ridge at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as the Bearcats come in on three and the Copperheads on four.
