Basketball Recap: Bridger Scouts vs. Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades
The Bridger Scouts scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 69-34 win over Reed Point/Rapelje on the road. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bridger also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Reed Point/Rapelje's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landen Bryant, who scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bryant has scored all season. Axel Blodgett was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three blocks.
Bridger is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Reed Point/Rapelje, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Absarokee the next time they take the court. Reed Point/Rapelje will host Absarokee at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Bridger will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
