Soccer Recap: Louisa County Takes a Loss

Louisa County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Goochland Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Louisa County of the 4-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Louisa County's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Goochland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Louisa County is set to face off against their familiar foe Western Albemarle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Goochland will challenge rival Monticello at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
