Basketball Recap: Jordan Kohler Key Part of Team Effort in Falcons Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lone Peak, Skyridge was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Lehi Pioneers by a score of 54-44. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Pioneers back in January, they had to take a 69-62 defeat.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Skyridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Kohler, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. The game was Kohler's fourth in a row with at least 16 points. Aisa Aumoeualogo was another key player, putting up ten points.

Skyridge was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They racked up six more assists than Lehi's also-impressive total of ten.

Despite the loss, Lehi still got an impressive performance from Easton Hawkins, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Saxon Young, who earned six points.

Skyridge now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Lehi, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8.

Skyridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-51 victory against Pleasant Grove on the 11th. As for Lehi, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 70-65 defeat against Lone Peak on the 11th.
