Soccer Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt's game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Conrad Chargers by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in January.

Roosevelt's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Conrad, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will face off against Lincoln at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. As for Conrad, they will square off against Carter at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Conrad's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
