Baseball Recap: North East Carolina Prep Comes Up Short

North East Carolina Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Bertie Falcons, falling 15-5. The Husky were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

North East Carolina Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jarrett Warren, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

North East Carolina Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Bertie, their record now sits at 6-13.

While North East Carolina Prep had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
