Volleyball Recap: Palmyra Comes Up Short

Palmyra and North Allegheny squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Palmyra had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2022.

Palmyra took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-21.

Palmyra's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4. As for North Allegheny, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2-3.

Palmyra does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Allegheny, they will challenge Penn-Trafford on Saturday. The Tigers are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
