Volleyball Recap: Madison County Red Raiders vs. Banks County Leopards

Madison County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Banks County Leopards. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Leopards this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Tuesday.

Madison County was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 21 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21.

Lexie Tucker paced Madison County's offense, picking up eight kills. Tucker got some help from Kylee Treadway and her 11 assists. Tucker was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Madison County's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Banks County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season.
