Soccer Recap: Corry Comes Up Short

Corry lost against Fort LeBoeuf back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Beavers came up short against the Bison, falling 15-0. While losing is never fun, Corry can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 241st, while Fort LeBoeuf are ranked 98th).

Corry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Fort LeBoeuf, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Corry will take on General McLane at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Corry's defense better be ready for this one: General McLane have averaged an impressive 3.5 goals per game this season. As for Fort LeBoeuf, they will square off against Conneaut Area at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
