The Frontenac Raiders will square off against the Diamond Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Frontenac comes in on 11 and Diamond on six.

On Monday, Frontenac had just enough and edged out Mt. Vernon 2-1.

Liberal typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Diamond proved too difficult a challenge. They never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Considering the Wildcats have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Taelyn Reeder was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Kabrie Parmley was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Frontenac pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
