Basketball Recap: Rose Hill Comes Up Short

Rose Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Wellington Crusaders 67-17. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 241st, while the Crusaders are ranked 20th).

Rose Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14-1. As for Wellington, their victory was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rose Hill will welcome El Dorado on Tuesday. Rose Hill is facing El Dorado at the right time seeing as El Dorado is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Wellington, they will host Clearwater on Tuesday. One thing working in Wellington's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.
