Basketball Game Preview: North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays vs. Winamac Warriors

North Judson-San Pierre is 2-8 against Winamac since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays will be playing at home against the Winamac Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

North Judson-San Pierre is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Oregon-Davis 72-29. The win was some much needed relief for the Bluejays as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Winamac, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They managed a 56-52 victory over North Miami on Friday.

North Judson-San Pierre better focus on containing Brendan Hines and Justin Potthoff as the pair were huge in Winamac's win. Hines went 5 of 10 en route to 20 points, while Potthoff went 7 of 13 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaybin Hines, who posted six points and five assists.

Winamac's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for North Judson-San Pierre, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
