There's no place like home for Greenville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Greenwood Eagles on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Red Raiders, who have now won five matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Greenville's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-7-1. As for Greenwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Greenville will square off against Woodmont at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Red Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Greenwood, they will face off against Dixie at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
