Volleyball Recap: Salado Comes Up Short

Salado was the 2-1 winner over Wimberley when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Texans by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Salado's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Wimberley, their victory bumped their record up to 14-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salado will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Troy at 7:00 p.m. on September 2. As for Wimberley, they will face off against Legacy Ranch at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wranglers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Texans surely won't give up without a fight.
