Softball Recap: Zeigler-Royalton Takes a Loss

Zeigler-Royalton lost against Elverado back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tornadoes might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-2 to the Falcons, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zeigler-Royalton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Elverado, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Coincidentally, Zeigler-Royalton and Elverado will both be playing Edwards County the next time they take the field. The Tornadoes will head out to face the Lions at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
