Volleyball Game Preview: Yorkville Foxes vs. Geneva Vikings

The Yorkville Foxes will venture away from home to square off against the Geneva Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Yorkville didn't have quite enough to beat Romeoville and fell 2-1. The Foxes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Yorkville sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 19-25, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Geneva was able to grind out a solid victory over Marmion on Monday, taking the game 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

While Geneva won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-16.

Geneva now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Yorkville, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.
