Baseball Recap: St. Xavier Tigers vs. St. Edward Eagles
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Trinity, St. Xavier was happy to have turned things around on Sunday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the St. Edward Eagles and snuck past 7-5.
Oakley Clevenger was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Buehner, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and a triple.
St. Xavier has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for St. Edward, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
