Soccer Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short

Princeton lost against Dixon back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dukes & Duchesses. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Princeton couldn't quite close it out.

Princeton has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Dixon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3-1.

Princeton has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Beecher on the 12th. As for Dixon, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 0-0 defeat against Orion/Sherrard on the 12th.
