Volleyball Recap: Vanguard Academy Takes a Loss

If Vanguard Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Merit Preparatory Academy on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights came up short against the American Prep WV Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-12.

Vanguard Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for American Prep WV, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Vanguard Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, American Prep WV will take on rival Wasatch Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
