Softball Recap: Chapman Panthers vs. Greer Yellow Jackets
While Chapman's victory against Greer wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers skirted past the Yellow Jackets 7-5. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Yellow Jackets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Ella Thornton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
