Basketball Recap: West Iredell Takes a Loss

West Iredell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 73-15 loss at the hands of the North Lincoln Knights. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Knights this season, with their most recent defeat being a 74-20 loss last Tuesday.

Among those leading the charge was Hailey Hagler, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lydia Cipriano, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 10 points in addition to eight boards and five steals.

West Iredell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-24. As for North Lincoln, the win (which was their 23rd in a row) raised their record to 23-1.

West Iredell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Lincoln, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 64-40 victory against North Iredell on the 18th.
