Soccer Recap: Ashwaubenon Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Ashwaubenon was not quite Beaver Dam's equal in the second half on Monday. They fell just short of the Golden Beavers by a score of 3-2. One thing that didn't help Ashwaubenon's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Josh Brunhoefer.

Chase Beyer wasn't going to let Beaver Dam walk away unscathed as he scored both of Ashwaubenon's goals, bringing his season total up to 13 goals.

Ashwaubenon is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6. As for Beaver Dam, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Ashwaubenon will challenge Green Bay Preble at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beaver Dam, they will take on Baraboo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Baraboo will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Beaver Dam surely won't give up without a fight.
