Oakmont lost to Center back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Vikings put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Oakmont was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-15.

Isabella Peters paced Oakmont's offense, picking up eight kills. Peters were helped by Elisabel Lumley Garcia and Malorie Denney, who contributed seven assists each. Aiyana Zaragoza controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The victory got Oakmont back to even at 6-6. As for Center, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Oakmont has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Lincoln on the 18th. As for Center, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Cordova on the 17th.
