Industrial won the last time they faced Edna and things went their way  on Friday too. The Industrial Cobras walked away with  a   12-7  win over the Edna Cowboys. The  victory was familiar territory for the Cobras, who have now won five  contests in a row.
 Easton Larew was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   four  hits. Larew was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-5 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Nic Kuchler, who  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with three  RBI and one  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  Major Larew, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Industrial's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Edna,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-7.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Industrial will host Yoakum  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Industrial's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1  runs per game  this season, so Yoakum's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Edna, they will welcome Hallettsville  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average, (Hallettsville 1.9, Edna 3.3) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
