Potlatch dropped their record down to 13-2 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's 12-game streak of wins. They lost 10-0 to the Kendrick Tigers. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Loggers, who until this matchup were averaging 3.87 runs allowed.

Potlatch saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Waylan Marshall, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

As for Kendrick, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Considering they have won 12 contests by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

On Kendrick's side, Hudson Kirkland made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Kirkland has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.

In other batting news, Kendrick got a massive performance out of Morgan Boyer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Ralli Roetcisoender was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one stolen base.

Coming up, Potlatch will be playing in front of their home fans against Lapwai at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Loggers are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Kendrick, they are taking a road trip to take on Grangeville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
