Preview: Wall Eagles vs. Philip Scotties

After two games on the road, Wall is heading back home. They will take on the Philip Scotties at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Wall knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matchups -- so hopefully Philip likes a good challenge.

Even though Freeman scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, Wall still came out on top. Wall took their match against Freeman 70-59. Winning is a bit easier when you outrebound your opponent 19 to 11 on the offensive boards, as Wall did.

The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Paige Kjerstad and Ashlin Jacobsen. Kjerstad had a great game and almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. Meanwhile, Jacobsen was balling out in the loss, scoring 18 points.

Meanwhile, Philip had just enough and edged Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] out 53-50 on Friday.

Wall is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Philip, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.

Everything came up roses for Wall against Philip in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 68-30 victory. Does Wall have another victory up their sleeve, or will Philip turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
