Saraland had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They came out on top against the Bryant Hurricanes by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

Saraland easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-21.

Bryleigh Goff was the offensive standout of the game as she had ten digs and two assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six matches.

Saraland's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Bryant, they moved to 6-3 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Saraland and Bryant should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. The Spartans will challenge Davidson at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (13 vs. 63). Meanwhile, Bryant (ranked 88th) will meet Mary G. Montgomery (ranked 242nd) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
