Basketball Game Preview: Roundup Panthers vs. Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades

The Roundup Panthers will challenge the Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Roundup had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were outmatched by Colstrip and fell 61-25. The Panthers have struggled against the Colts recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Reed Point/Rapelje was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 50-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Custer/Hysham.

Roundup will have to keep a close watch on Landen Bryant and Ben Broyles, a pair of players who had a big impact on Reed Point/Rapelje's prior game. Bryant posted 11 points, while Broyles had eight points and eight rebounds. Gabe Baumberger was another key player, putting up eight points and seven rebounds.
