Baseball Recap: Joppatowne Takes a Loss

Joppatowne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-4 to the Aberdeen Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on Wednesday.

Tyler Stevens made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Ryan Miller also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Joppatowne's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Aberdeen, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8.
