Baseball Recap: Elizabeth Comes Up Short

Elizabeth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Sotomayor Wolves, falling 17-0. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolves from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Elizabeth's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Sotomayor, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Sotomayor will square off against CALS Early College at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Elizabeth will be paying especially close attention to the Wolves' contest: after the Wolves face off against the Falcons, they'll take on Elizabeth again at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
