It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Ferndale ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 25-21 victory over the St. Bernard's Crusaders. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won six in a row.
Ferndale got a massive performance out of Tinnley Pidgeon, who went 3-for-5 with seven RBI, four runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Gossi, who went 3-for-7 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.
