It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Ferndale ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 25-21 victory over the St. Bernard's Crusaders. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won six in a row.

Ferndale got a massive performance out of Tinnley Pidgeon, who went 3-for-5 with seven RBI, four runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Gossi, who went 3-for-7 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.

Ferndale always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Ferndale's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for St. Bernard's, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ferndale will square off against rival Hoopa Valley at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, St. Bernard's is set to take on their familiar foe South Fork at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
