Football Game Preview: Page Sand Devils vs. Chinle Wildcats + Official Tickets

Page is a perfect 7-0 against Chinle since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Sand Devils will look to defend their home field against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Page comes in on five and Chinle on six.

If Page beats Chinle with 45 points on Thursday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Sand Devils simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Winslow 45-6. The Sand Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 26 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Joseph Benally, who rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 104 yards and a pair of TDs. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Caleb Nix, who gained 89 total yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Chinle owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 14-0 win over Window Rock.

Chinle's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Page, their win bumped their record up to an identical 6-2.

Everything came up roses for Page against Chinle in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 66-24 victory. Will the Sand Devils repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
