Baseball Recap: Lomira Comes Up Short

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Lomira and St. Mary's Springs have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Lions lost 12-2 to the Ledger. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ledger this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 on Tuesday.

Lomira's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for St. Mary's Springs, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lomira will face off against Markesan at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Mary's Springs, they will challenge Pardeeville at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
