After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McAllen, Rowe was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sharyland Rattlers, sneaking past 6-4. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Rattlers back in February, they had to take a 12-8 loss.
Savanah Garcia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Rowe let Anna Rios and Mackenzie Garza run wild. Rios went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple, while Garza went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those three RBI gave Rios a new career-high.
