After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McAllen, Rowe was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sharyland Rattlers, sneaking past 6-4. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Rattlers back in February, they had to take a 12-8 loss.

Savanah Garcia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Rowe let Anna Rios and Mackenzie Garza run wild. Rios went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple, while Garza went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those three RBI gave Rios a new career-high.

Rowe hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least two strikeouts batters in three consecutive matches.

Rowe's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-11. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Sharyland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Sharyland has already played their next contest (against McAllen Memorial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Rowe will be paying especially close attention to the Rattlers' game: after the Rattlers faces off against Vela, they'll take on Rowe again at 6:30 p.m. on the 11th.
