Basketball Recap: Norwalk Takes a Loss

Norwalk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 78-49 defeat at the hands of the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs. The Truckers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Norwalk's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Olmsted Falls, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norwalk will take on Columbian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Norwalk is facing Columbian at the right time seeing as Columbian is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Olmsted Falls, they will square off against Midview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Olmsted Falls has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
