Softball Recap: Interboro Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Interboro had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Chichester on Tuesday. The Buccaneers were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Eagles. Considering the Buccaneers have won ten matches by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Aubrey MacWilliams was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with one home run and five RBI. Summer Burrell was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.

Interboro pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Chichester, they moved to 8-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
