Softball Recap: Dale County Takes a Loss

Dale County lost against Pike Road back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors lost 9-3 to the Patriots. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dale County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leah Grace Snellgrove, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Another was Bre Wilkerson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Dale County's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Pike Road, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-18.

Dale County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 17-5 win against Providence Christian on the 8th. As for Pike Road, they have also already played their next game, a 7-6 loss against Slocomb on the 8th.
