Meanwhile, Paducah Tilghman has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.92 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They came up short against McCracken County, falling 11-5. The Blue Tornado have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Paducah Tilghman saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hailey Mooney, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one RBI. Sophie Key was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Graves County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Paducah Tilghman, their loss dropped their record down to 19-7.

Thursday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Graves County has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .436. However, it's not like Paducah Tilghman struggles in that department as they've averaged .490. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
