Basketball Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Chisago Lakes Area last Tuesday, Princeton came back down to earth. The Princeton Tigers lost 89-67 to the Marshall Hilltoppers on Thursday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (57), the Tigers still had to take the loss.

Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Marshall, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

Princeton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-61 defeat against Becker on the 10th. As for Marshall, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 88-69 loss against Minnehaha Academy on the 11th.
