Greenville scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 75-70 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vandalia Vandals. The Comets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vandals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Greenville has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which lines up perfectly with their 5-15 record this season. As for Vandalia, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-9 record.
