Baseball Recap: Timberline Comes Up Short

After flying high against Spanaway Lake on Thursday, Timberline came back down to earth. The Timberline Blazers fell just short of the Olympia Bears by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Blazers in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost seven in a row.

Timberline saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Junior San Nicolas, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Timberline's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Timberline will face off against Curtis at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Olympia, they will square off against Tumwater at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last four games Olympia has played (dating back to last season) have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
