Softball Recap: Lakeville South Comes Up Short

If Lakeville South was feeling good fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Century on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars fell just short of the Lakeville North Panthers by a score of 6-4 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Cougars have suffered against the Panthers since May 4, 2022.

Lauren Schellhammer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits.
