Basketball Recap: Fort Defiance Takes a Loss

Fort Defiance was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 61-26 loss at the hands of the Buffalo Gap Bison. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 330th, while the Bison are ranked 126th).

Fort Defiance's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Buffalo Gap, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Buffalo Gap beat Fort Defiance by a score of 61-26 on Friday.
