Baseball Recap: Friendly Comes Up Short

Friendly was the 1-0 winner over Largo when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell just short of the Lions by a score of 9-7 on Monday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Friendly's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Largo, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Friendly will take on rival Gwynn Park on Friday. Meanwhile, Largo is set to challenge their familiar foe Fairmont Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
