Soccer Recap: Austintown-Fitch Comes Up Short

Austintown-Fitch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Howland Tigers, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Austintown-Fitch can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 339th, while Howland are ranked 114th).

Austintown-Fitch's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Howland, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Austintown-Fitch will take on Champion at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Howland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Canfield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
