Basketball Recap: Crescent Falls Short of Frederick in the Playoffs

Crescent and Frederick squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Crescent had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Frederick Bombers by a score of 56-53. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crescent lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Aja Adams-House, who posted 12 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. That's the most boards she has posted since back in January. Rylee Alexander was another key player, going 6-for-12 en route to 17 points.

Crescent's loss dropped their record down to 6-21. As for Frederick, their victory bumped their record up to 6-18.

As of now, neither Crescent nor Frederick have any future games scheduled.
